TWO men were arrested when Guardia Civil officers found 1.5 tons of hashish in the boat they were moving from Almeria to Murcia. The arrests were made after some officers detected suspicious activity on a vessel captained by a man from Adra, who is also close to alleged drug traffickers. The police placed discreet vigilance in the area, which noticed two men were participating in potentially suspicious behaviour. Once the pair went out to sea, the Guardia Civil intercepted the vessel at the height of Manga del Mar Menor (Murcia), and found 154 hash packages inside. The hashish, along with the boat, several phones and a GPS device were confiscated, while the men were arrested for alleged crimes against public health.
