‘Thieves’ accused of 50 robberies arrested

THREE men suspected robbing 50 Elche warehouses and country homes were arrested. The National Police worked with the Guardia Civil for months investigating the crimes which ultimately led to the arrest of two Spaniards aged 34 and 36.

A third man, 34, was arrested the following day and accused of the same 50 crimes of robbery as the other two. Police conducted a home search in Altabix where different stolen goods were found including shoe leather worth €28,000.
