SCHOOLCHILDREN in Cataluña who take packed lunches with them, will still have for lunch services.
They will pay only half of the maximum fee set by the regional government at €6.20 per meal, in order to subsidize the use of fridges, microwaves, cleaning services and monitors. The option for children who need to stay to lunch to be able to take packed lunches with them has been introduced following demands from parents who say that they are too costly. Each school will be able to set the final price, based on their costs.
