Barajas Airport in Madrid
A GROUP of 13 Malaga residents was stranded 10 hours in Madrid’s Barajas airport waiting for a flight.
Terminal 1 of Barajas airport is where the 13 Malaga residents waited for hours to board their flight run by the touring company Pullmantur, with the destination to Athens where they were scheduled to connect to a cruise ship. Unfortunately, the group were only 13 of the 300 people affected by the airplane’s technical problems that lead to three different delays. The flight was originally scheduled for departure at 1.10pm; however, the mechanical issues pushed take-off back until 9.45pm. Many travellers had to connect to their cruise which left at 12 midnight.
