A MAN is facing four years and two months in prison for allegedly shooting a man in El Palo, Malaga. The accused allegedly arrived in front of the apartment building of a man, who had supposedly injured a family member of his, in July, 2011. The accused then began to fire shots with a rifle, although he did not hit his intended victim. However, a neighbour was standing on the balcony of his home and was accidentally shot twice. The injuries were not fatal, although the victim needed 46 days to fully recover. The district attorney has asked for four years and two months in prison for the shooter; for disregarding others’ safety while attempting to injure another person and has also demanded the accused pay the victim €2,760 compensation.
