The Málaga CF and Manuel Rolando Iturra Urrutia, 28, have reached an agreement for the Chilean midfielder to be part of the discipline malaguista season 2012/13. The player, who passed a medical in the health complex “Clínicas Rincón-Málaga Club de Fútbol”, will join training tomorrow. Manuel Iturra has played 34 times international games with the Chilean national team, where he had a very outstanding performance under the direction of Marcelo Bielsa.
 
Iturra was forged as a player at the University of Chile, where he stayed for eight seasons, from 2003/04 to 2009/10. In his playing career the ‘Uni’ meetings played Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana combined with Chile, adding to his resume the Chilean First Division championship twice, 2004 and 2009.
 
In season 2010/11 he made the leap to Europe, namely Portugal, joining the Uniao Leiria in the Portuguese first division. Last season, the 2011/12, competed in the ranks of Real Murcia in the Liga Adelante, playing a total of 35 games.
