RILKE: To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the poet’s visit to Ronda.
AN exhibition ‘A century of guests: walking in the footprints of Rilke,’ to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Czech poet’s visit to Ronda, has opened. Being held at the Convento Santo Domingo and arranged by the Unicaja Ronda Foundation, it will remain open until September 28.
Pictures from the Hotel Reina Victoria are on show and a biographic section with a reproduction of the room the poet took while staying at the hotel. While staying in Ronda during which time he wrote some of his works, Rilke described it as a “dream city.”
