Classical music on the beach

A TREAT: Two live concerts were played on Benidorm’s Levante beach.

BEACH GOERS were treated to two live classical music concerts on Benidorm’s Levante Beach. A string quartet of students from the Musical Union of Benidorm played for 40 minutes.

The aim was to “prove that Benidorm not only has beaches and sun, but that culture can also be found at the beach,” said Culture Councillor Eva Mayor. “Hopefully, the event will become a tradition,” added Beach Councillor Vicente Ivorra.
