REVVED UP: Mayor Esperanza Oña in one of the classic cars before the start of the rally which started on Monday.
A CLASSIC CAR rally through eight towns started in Fuengirola on Monday. Some 20 cars more than 30 years old will travel to Grazalema, Ubrique, Alcalá de los Gazules, Jerez de la Frontera, Ronda, Marbella and back to Fuengirola.
Cars were exhibited to the public at the ‘feria’ in Fuengirola prior to the race. Meanwhile, the Classic Car Club of Andalucia celebrated its fourth anniversary with a dinner party on the terrace of El Chapparal Golf Club on Friday. The club has its club night dinner on the first Tuesday of every month at El Chaparral with a classic car run and lunch the following Saturday.
