Felipe goes walkabout for Red Cross

HEIR to the throne Prince Felipe walked through central Madrid with donations for the Red Cross on October 10.
This is flag day in Spain, and Felipe made three stops. First to the charity’s table near the Parliament building, presided by his mother, Queen Sofia. Then on to the Puerta del Sol where his sister Elena was in charge, and finally to a table outside the Foreign ministry. Here he gave his donation – and a kiss – to wife Princess Letizia.
Money raised this year will go to Spanish families affected by the crisis and unemployment.
