Prostitute drug ring arrested

A GANG headed by a Spaniard that used prostitutes to supply and sell drugs, including in Italy, has been rounded up by police. The network of 20 sold cocaine, hashish and marihuana on the Costa del Sol, in the Gibraltar area, Madrid and Burgos. Some gang members bought hashish from Romanians in southern Spain and sold it in Italy after travelling in convoy by car to check for police road checks. Other gang members grew cannabis and later stored it in Malaga province prior to sale, while others based in central Spain provided cocaine. Some Colombian prostitutes sold the drugs in brothels where they worked.
