Curry night held for charity

Lux Mundi, Torre del Mar recently held a Curry Night at the Centre hosted by Carolyn and Henry Bowen, ably aided by Bob Dunn-Sims, Robin Lake and other volunteers. The 49 International diners, British, German and Dutch were welcomed with a drink and treated to a menu of Pappadums & Pickles, Chicken Jalfrezi or Vegetable Curry, Rice, Naan Bread and Bombay Alloo, all delicious and there was even an opportunity to return for Seconds.

The party was able to utilise the newly installed Sound System for the background music and the Grand Raffle was generously supported. It was a very enjoyable evening and Lux Mundi would like to thank everyone for their support and the generous donations of non perishable food for charity to help the needy. The event raised €499.86 for charity.
