Investigations ongoing into violent burglar of Britons home

INVESTIGATIONS are underway following the attack and burglary of an elderly British couple at their Arboleas home.

The man needed surgical treatment following the attack and together with his wife was treated at the La Inmaculada Hospital in Huercal-Overa (Almeria). 

The attack took place on Saturday November 3 around 11pm when one or two attackers broke into the house and attacked the couple, who are aged 74 and 71. The man was beaten and kicked when he refused to hand over the keys to the car. They took several personal items and cash.
