MORE than 32,000 hectares in production and 800 workers underline the growing biological agriculture business in Alicante. Half of the land surface in the Valencia region used on bio gardening can be found in the province. In the whole Valencia region, there are more than 2,400 companie operating under the Bio label, the Agriculture Regional Council said. This business grew by 247 per cent during the last 10 years.
