NY Times dignifies local wine

HERE’S THE SECRET: A visit to the wine cellar in Enrique Mendoza’s headquarters.

LOCAL winery company Enrique Mendoza was congratulated by Alfaz del Pi Mayor, Vicente Arques for their international mention.

The quality of their La Tremenda 2009 wine bottle edition was recently acknowledged by the New York Times. “It has redefined its own ‘monastrell’ grape variety. It is a well-structured and complex wine, bringing black fruit, prune and mineral flavours to the palate,” NY Times gastronomy critic Eric Asimov said about La Tremenda 2009.
