Ronda to be a UNESCO World Heritage site

ICONIC: The bridge and waterfall in Ronda

THE town of Ronda is closer to be officially named a UNESCO World Heritage site. Ronda’s town hall has been provided a report by the Andalucian Government, stating the guidelines for successfully receiving this award.

Among their suggestions, Ronda should point out its historical and architectural authenticity, quoted by the poems from Czech writer Rainer Maria Rilke. The Romantic bandolier figure and the bullfighting are other symbols Ronda should use.
