BYE BUILDING: The area was sealed off for safety reasons.
AN eyesore tower is being demolished by hand in Mijas Costa. The Calypso tower, built in 1976 as a water tank, had fallen out of use for many years.
“It is not a nice building. The residents always saw it as cumbersome and difficult to keep,” Mijas Mayor Angel Nozal said. Council workmen are demolishing it by hand to avoid damaging other buildings
