Mario Vargas Llosa Primary prefabricated classrooms
WORKS for building the Mario Vargas Llosa Primary School in Marbella will start soon. An agreement was signed by the Andalucian Government representatives and the construction company. The building should be ready in four months, according to the contract’s deadline.
The agreement came right the day before a protest by the AMPA parents’ association was scheduled. They had announced that they would go to the Andalucian Government’s Office in Malaga. But after the agreement, parents were doubtful about going ahead with their protest.
Around 175 students in this Primary School have been attending to classes in prefabricated classrooms for the past three years. Throughout these period, five different deadlines for construction were given.
