Treat yourself to a stay at Hotel Plateros

RESTORED: The hotel now offers all the comfort of a modern establishment.

CORDOBA is one of the main tourist destinations in Andalucia, which is no surprise, as this beautiful city has so much to offer visitors.

To some, living in Spain can seem like one long holiday, but this is no reason not to take a look around the country and discover what its varied history has left behind.

For anyone living in Malaga province, Cordoba is an ideal location for a short trip, being just a short drive away, as well as being accessible by train from the station in Malaga city.

In the heart of Cordoba is the Hotel Plateros, a historical building dating back to 1857 which has been completed restored to offer all the comfort of a modern establishment, where you can enjoy your visit in style.

The Hotel Plateros, which has full disabled access, has eight double rooms and four singles, all with bath, shower, hair-dryer, air-conditioning, heating, TV, radio, telephone, and lovely views of the city.

There is also an exhibition hall, and the Taberna Seneca, a tavern dating back to the 19th century which maintains its original appearance and where guests can enjoy a variety of typical Andalucian dishes prepared to perfection, and of course, while in Cordoba, try some of the local wines which are kept in the cellars.

The location of Hotel Plateros couldn’t be better as the hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk from all the major tourist attractions in the city, such as the Roman Bridge, the Arab fortress, the synagogue and Jewish Quarters, museums, churches, and of course, the world famous cathedral, which was once a mosque, and is a must-see for any visitor to the city. It is also close to the bus and train stations, and a short drive from the ruined city of Medina Azahara.

Hotel Plateros has a special Autumn – Winter Offer for half board rooms (breakfast + dinner, except Sundays) for just €30 per person per night. This must be pre-paid by credit card and cannot be cancelled. Subject to availability and minimum stay two nights. Available until March 13, 2013.
