Charity gets fun day lift

THE AECC cancer charity raised of €1,642 from a recent fun day at Evolucion La Fuente Commercial Centre.  Maria Wilson, president of the Torrevieja branch of the AECC, and the Pink Ladies said: “I would like to thank every one for their kind donations and help.”

Around 900 pink helium balloons were released on the day with a competition for the one which travels the furthest. “We are giving the winning balloon about eight weeks to come back from the furthest point,” explained Maria. The winner will be announced in The Euro Weekly News in the New Year.
