ICON: Raphael’s latest performance in Costa del Sol was at Marbella’s Starlite 2012.
SPANISH bestseller singer Raphael finished a five night run at the Teatro Cervantes, Malaga, last Sunday. Raphael did a selection of his classics to an audience of 1,000 every night. And he debuted new songs by composer Manuel Alejandro.
The duo, who have worked together since the seventies, released their latest album, El reencuentro a few months ago. Raphael has sold millions of albums in an extensive career. He has earned 350 gold and 49 platinum records. He is the only artist in the world to have a uranium record, for selling more than 50 million copies of his 1982 greatest hits album Raphael: Ayer, hoy y siempre.
