LANDSLIDES: The Burriana Beach area was damaged after the storms.
DAMAGE worth €848,000 was caused by the November storms in Nerja. Official reports by the town hall revealed that 33 different points suffered floods or landslides.
They said all costs will be reported to the Andalucian and State governments, in order to receive grants. Most costly repairs, €205,000, were on the road connecting Burriana Beach and the Chimenea urbanisation. Another road badly damaged was the one going to Maro Beach (€175,000).
The third most expensive repair (€125,000) will be to a wall at the Municipal Sports Centre.
