Roasted chicken for charity

A CHARITY campaign to help the needy in Velez-Malaga will see locals buy roasted chicken to help raise funds.

Anyone buying this meal until January 7, at either the Asador de Pollos Aurelio and Asador Reme La Cocinera grilled chicken shops, will contribute with their purchase to help poor families in town. NGO Angeles de la Axarquia (Axarquia Angels) will pick up the roasted chickens and deliver them to those in need.

Food is also being collected at Torre del Mar’s Municipal Market, Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 1.30pm. More information: 633 54 79 60.
