A 38-YEAR-OLD British resident in Mijas Pueblo was held by Local Police for alleged domestic violence.
Police sources reported they found the man’s partner, also British, at their home badly shaken up and bruised.
The man had previously tried to aggressively push the front door in order to bar entry to the police, who had been alerted by neighbours.
On entering the police found the man’s partner. Her face showed bloody injuries and her clothes showed signs of being ripped. When asked by the officers what had happened, the woman
alleged she had been beaten by her companion. She was taken by ambulance to the Las Lagunas Health Centre, and later discharged. The accused man will now face a court.
