FOUR Ghanian immigrants who pretended to be a family to obtain up to €50,000 from the State were arrested in Zaragoza.
Three of the detainees, who were living illegally in Spain, had forged passports which showed they were the wife and two children of the fourth man arrested.
National Police report that they had managed to obtain residence permits and €50,000 in benefits from the state. One of the detainees claimed to be under 18. The Spanish Embassy in Accra, Ghana, collaborated with the investigation.
