GOOD BOY: Falconry or hawking is an ancient practice that dates back to the Mesopotamian era.
HAWKS, falcons and other birds of prey were spotted in the skies of Antequera.
The 5th Andalucian falconry tournament was being held at La Noria country house.
The practice of breeding and training birds of prey for hunting or free flying is getting more popular in Malaga province.
In recent years there have been a growing number of people joining falconry associations. Currently, there are 622 people officially registered in the Southern Falconry Association (ACESUR) of Malaga province.
