Wild about running

RUNNING WILD ATHLETICS CLUB are getting ready for Sunday’s Santa Pola Half Marathon.

Then in February Torrevieja’s half marathon and 10 kilometre race are on the agenda before the Paris marathon in April.

Recently the club has had members at races in Orihuela where Frauke Gerlach came sixth of 600 runners in a six and a half kilometre race.

In Barcelona 10 kilometre John Pascoe celebrated his birthday by entering the 11,000 strong field with his son in law Adrian Kite and sons Gary and Johnny, and granddaughter Philippa.

Fellow Club member, Lin Gossage completed the whole distance, despite having only recently started light training after suffering stress fractures.
