FAKE: The forged 50 euro bank note.
A MAN who paid with a forged €50 note in a bar in Mijas was arrested because he left his mobile phone behind.
The man, 40, had already attempted to use the note to pay for items in local shops. He then used it to pay €7 he owed in a local bar, however, he forgot his mobile phone and was arrested by Local Police who were alerted by staff.
He has prior arrests, one of them for money forgery, however, none of the other notes he had on him when arrested were not forged.
