Tehran issue

I MUST take issue with Mike Walsh’s gushing praise for Tehran.  From a video!  He surely isn’t so naive that the video he had “the privilege to watch” (Web of deceit Issue 1438) would show the public hanging area where criminals and gays are strung up for all to see, or the stoning ground for adulterous women.  As for Iraq, it was peaceful he says. Does he not remember that Saddam Hussein started two wars by invading Kuwait and Iran.  Or that his son fed people who displeased him to his pet lions, As for Budapest he is correct it is beautiful, but once outside the city the old Stalinist blocks are much in evidence, and yes the folk are delightful, but poor as church mice.
