The Socialist Group is seeking support from other parties for its proposals for renewable energy in the Almanzora Valley.
The socialist mayors of Seron and Purchana are amongst a growing number of politicians who have condemned the policies pursued by central government in this sector.
According to the Socialist Party, government policy has frustrated the plans of around 20 towns in the region to create clean energy, as well as the creation of hundreds of jobs.
A spokesman disclosed that 30 companies had so far submitted investment projects in 20 municipalities worth around €75million, right across the Almanzora Valley, from Roquetas to Macael.
