Hashish seized from helicopter in Andalucia

THREE people were arrested after they were intercepted transporting drugs between Andalucia and Morocco by helicopter.

Thanks to data obtained in previous operations and with the collaboration of the Moroccan authorities, an operation was mounted by Guardia Civil in Algeciras, Ceuta, Cadiz, Malaga and Sevilla. This allowed them to intercept a helicopter carrying 300 kilos of hashish in Pilas, Sevilla, although the pilot fled the scene.

A man alleged to be the pilot was arrested later, along with the owner of the helicopter. Another helicopter was also intercepted in Osuna, Sevilla, and the pilot was arrested.
