EMERGENCY services were called in the early hours of this morning after an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit Andalucia at around 4.11am.
Temors in Sevilla, Estepona and Malaga provinces were felt by some but the main earthquake epicenter was in Jimena de la Frontera in the province of Cadiz. There have been no reported damage or injuries caused.
Another earthquake was reported last Sunday measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale to the northwest of Casares.
