As from today, the price of a 12.5 kilo bottle of butane gas, used in over 8 million homes, has gone up by 7.2 per cent to €17.50 due to a new idea introduced by the Spanish Government to calculate the retail price of liquefied petroleum gas.
The price rise applies to the orange REPSOL and the siver CEPSA bottles.
The butane gas bottle price will now be reviewed every two months instead of quarterly with a maximum variation of plus or minus five percent.
