Sebastian Vettel disobeyed instructions
REIGNING champion Sebastian Vettel admitted “I disobeyed instructions and made a big mistake” when winning an incident-packed Malaysian Grand Prix of the season at Sapporo.
He finished ahead of Red Bull ‘bitterly unhappy’ team-mate Mark Webber after boss Chris Horner told his drivers to ‘hold their stations’ having touched wheels at 170mph while engaged in ‘over-elaborate tactics’. I say Webber deserved to win!
A delighted Lewis Hamilton came third, despite driving into his ‘old’ McLaren pit lane instead of his ‘new’ Mercedes slot. The third race is in Shanghai on 14 April.
