The Maritime Rescue Service intercepted 31 sub-Saharans yesterday, including three women and a baby, who were attempting to reach the Spanish coastline in small boats.
Between 7am and 7.15am on Monday morning, the authorities began receiving calls from people on the boats. The boats were located about 11 miles west of Tarifa, the second about 11.5 miles from Tarifa and the third boat about 13 miles south west of Tarifa.
The migrants were taken to the port of Tarifa and were all said to be in good health.
