A CHARITY shop is appealing for donations of second hand goods so it can help fund a voluntary association.

The Cala Nova Cancer Care Charity Shop was recently approached by an association called DIME, asking for help.

It already supplies volunteers to help in the Palliative Care Units in the Juan March Hospital and the Hospital General.

Now DIME is hoping to start work in the Son Espases Hospital, where a Palliative Care Unit for children is being set up. To do that it needs to train volunteers, and because of a lack of government funding the association needs help.

Now The Cala Nova Cancer Care Shop at 358 Avenida Joan Miro, San Augustin, has just donated €1,000 euros to DIME

But to enable the shop to continue to support them donations of unwanted good quality clothes, bric-a-brac and furniture are needed. For more information contact Angela on 609 848 622 or the shop on 971 708 664.
