CRIME SCENE: €30,000 was stolen from airport safe.
A MAN named as Daniel I. G. has been arrested for allegedly stealing money from the safe at Palma’s Son Sant Juan airport. The airport authorities first reported the theft on April 16.
When checking the safe they found that there was €30,000 missing. The man arrested, aged 31, worked at the airport as a technician of the surveillance cameras.
He is accused of disabling the cameras that monitor the safe before removing the money. The Guardia Civil searched the suspect’s house and recovered €2,000.
