New A3 sedan to make European debut

BARCELONA will be the setting as the new Audi A3 sedan makes its European debut. It will be 23cms longer and 3cm wider than the standard A3 hatchback, meaning a bigger trunk with a 425 litre capacity. 

Inside the car will have a ‘wrap-around’ dashboard and it will feature the advanced ‘Audi connect‘ infotainment service as also part of the package. The new Audi model will go on sale this month with prices starting at approximately €25,000.

The  A3 sedan will have three different engine variants available: the 140 horsepower 1.4-litre TFSI and the 180 horsepower 1.8 TFSI petrol engines and a 2.0-litre TDi diesel unit producing 150 horsepower.

Advanced technology includes its automatic ‘pre sense’ detection system to prepare the car for imminent collisions.
