THE Director General of the Guardia Civil, Arsenio Fernandez de Mesa, saw off 14 officers who will join the contingent in Afghanistan. They will train police officers in Qala i Naw, Qin, Herat and Kabul, where there are currently 37 Guardia Civil officers.
