GUARDIA CIVIL dismantled an organisation which smuggled hashish into Spain on jet-skis. Thirty people have been arrested in an operation carried out in the provinces of Malaga and Cadiz.
The organisation had several types of ships used to transport drugs from Morocco to several off-shore rendezvous points. They were collected there by other gang members who used jet-skis to bring them to the Costa del Sol and Campo de Gibraltar areas.
The organisation, which was based in Malaga and stored drugs in the Campo de Gibraltar area, was allegedly led by an Italian resident in Spain. They had organised a network which also laundered the money from drugs sales and owned several premises in Sierra Nevada and on the Costa del Sol.
