Spanish coach Vicente del Bosque has announced the provisional line-up for the Confederations Cup.
Amongst the 26 players will be Chelsea striker Fernando Torres and Javi Martinez, mid-fielder for Bayern Munich. But Barcelona defender Carles Puyol, Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea and Seville striker Alvaro Negredo have not been picked.
Del Bosque told the BBC that “Torres and Martinez are both in good form now.”
The full Spanish squad looks likely to have the following line up, Goalkeepers Iker Casillas, Jose Reina and Victor Valdes. Defenders, Jordi Alba,Raul Albiol, Alvaro Arbeloa, Cesar Azpilicueta, Nacho Monreal, Gerad Pique, and Sergio Ramos.
Mid fielders, Xabi Alonso, Benat Etxebarria, Sergio Busquets, Santi Caorla, Cesc Fabregas, Javi Garcia, Andres Iniesta, Javi Martinez, Juan Mata, Jesus Navas, Pedro, David Silva and Xavi.
Forwards, Fernando Torres, Roberto Soldado, and David Villa.
