Rafa Nadal wins semi-final Roland Garros
Rafa Nadal has won the semi-final match against Djokovic and will go through to the final with the chance to make history as the first man to win the Grand Slam eight times.
He held off world number one Novak Djokovic 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7, (3-7), 9-7.
His victory also means the Spaniard draws level with Federer’s record of 58 wins at Roland Garros, although he has had fewer losses – just one to Federer’s 13.
In the championship match, Nadal will play the winner between compatriot, and fourth seed, David Ferrer or home favourite, sixth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
