Four people have been injured after their boat exploded in Gibraltar when they were filling it up with fuel.
Emergency services say that all four have suffered burns and three of the crew, who are all Spanish, have been seriously injured.
According to sources the injured, who are all in their twenties, set out on Sunday morning from Malaga heading in a westerly direction, but once they reached Algeciras their craft ran out of diesel.
A rescue boat towed them to the Gib Oil station on the Rock.
The causes of the accident are being investigated, but initial theories point to the craft having exploded whilst being filled up with fuel.
They have all been taken to the San Bernardo hospital in Gibraltar according to Gibraltar-based TV station GBC.
