Fun bowls competition at Los Gallardos, Almeria

VERA AND DISTRICT Lions Club, in conjunction with Almeria Lawn Bowling Club, Los Gallardos, is celebrating July 4 (US Independence Day) at Camping Los Gallardos.

The day’s events start at 4pm with Bowls tuition for beginners.

There will be a short format for the club bowlers (two competitions) and an open invitation to the general public to ‘come along and give it a try’ without the necessary correct footwear (just socks) and there will also be a ‘spider competition’.

At 7pm there will be a barbeque on the terrace with fun games including a ‘human fruit machine’  and ‘horse racing’, completing an afternoon and evening of entertainment.

All proceeds from this event will go to The Vera and District Lions Club Charity account helping local people in need in the community.
