THE Almuñecar Local Police has confiscated more than 1,300 kilos of fruit and vegetables that were being sold without permission next to the Blas Infante street market.
The agents who were watching the zone aim to prosecute the seller, whose identity has not become known yet.
The confiscated goods were 1,200 kilos of watermelon, 80 kilos of tomatoes, 18 kilos of aubergines and 15 kilos of peppers .They were taken to the municipal park of Peña Escrita and used to feed the animals that live there.
