Harry Potter author’s ‘anger’ over pseudonym leak

JK Rowling

JK Rowling has confirmed her ‘anger’ over her misjudgement of trust with her novel. This came after finding out her pseudonym Robert Galbraith was leaked by the law firm Russells she claims.

She had assumed she could in her words “expect total confidentiality from.”

“I feel very angry that my trust turned out to be misplaced. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement,” she said in a statement.

She is the author of the crime novel The Cuckoo’s Calling in the Sunday Times.

The conversation had occurred supposedly between one of the firm’s partners, Chris Gossage and his wife’s best friend, Judith Callegari resulting that he trusted her “implicitly”.  Reportedly Ms Callegari revealed Rowling’s identity to a Sunday Times journalist via Twitter.

Russells Solicitors said it apologised “unreservedly”.
