Neo chooses Huawei

Chinese manufacturer Huawei has allegedly been chosen by Spanish operator Neo to launch LTE services.

Neo is the company which offers telecom services for companies in Spain. Supposedly, 4G network will be available in Spain by the end of the year.

The two companies have already agreed the cities in which the 4G commercial services will be launched and will be Alicante, Cordoba, Murica, Valladolid, Salamanca and Vigo. This was discussed in January. Neo plans to cover the whole country in six months.

The Chinese company will take care of the technical side and settle a LTE-TDD end-to-end network, customer’s equipment, radio LTE stations and an MPLS transmission network.

Both companies have stated that supposedly the LTE-TDD will improve the service currently available and allow the growth of clients’ businesses based on innovative technologies.
