Mixing up the perfect drink – World Cocktail Championship in Prague

MALAGA is well represented at this weekend’s World Cocktail Championship in Prague. Contestants have battled their way through various tournaments to arrive at the prestigious competition.

Like many sports there are different categories and Malaga can boast competitors in three different events at the International Bartenders Association organised championships.

Spanish champion Francisco Javier Lucas, bar manager at Benalmadena’s Bali Hotel, will be representing Spain.

Pedro Garcia, also from Malaga, who won the third Provincial Acrobatic Cocktail Championship entitling him to go to Prague from his category alongside Antonio Garcia Doblas who won the National Young Barman category. He too is from Malaga province.
