Unhappy family

OFFICERS of the National Police have arrested a man in Palma after he allegedly burgled his mother’s house.

The man, aged 37, climbed down from his apartment to break into his mother’s home in the same building, police claim.

Once inside, he was caught by his mother allegedly stealing jewellery and a struggle between the two started.

The brother of the alleged burglar, who was in the apartment at the time, managed to separate them and called the authorities.

A National Police unit arrived shortly after to arrest the accused and charge him with burglary with violence.
