OUT AND ABOUT: Numerous activities will take place in the streets of Frigiliana.
MORE than 20,000 people are expected to take part in the VIII Frigiliana 3 Cultures Festival that starts today (Thursday) and will last until Sunday.
This year’s programme offers a number of concerts to be held at the Casa del Apero and the 3 Culturas square, as well as numerous street activities including workshops, exhibitions and a market.
A tapas route is to take place too. With 18 local bars and restaurants participating, it aims at beating the 25,000 tapas served record set last year.
The Frigiliana town council set up this festival for the first time in 2006 as a way to honour the Christian, Jewish and Moorish cultures said to have marked the town’s heritage.
